Ginisang Corned Beef
One of the basics in my pantry is canned beef. It’s one of my favorite things to cook, especially if I don’t have the time or energy to spend more than 30 minutes making dinner.
It is very expensive and is a flexible ingredient, too.
The best canned beef
I like to use the chunky type and have good results with Martin Purefoods, Palm, Ox & Palm, and Argentine brands. I’ve heard Delimondo is great, too, but I’ve never tried it myself.

Like other canned meat such as spam or tuna, canned beef is ready to be eaten. Cooking it, however, elevates the taste.

It only takes a few minutes and one pan to turn a mound of minced beef into a stick, sticking to your beef ribs. Also, you can double or triple the recipe and prepare what’s left of a brand new dish like frittata or pizza for dinner the next day. Check out some interesting ideas below.
Great ways to use a beef jerky
Use the remaining ginisang beef in macaroni soap instead of crushed chicken.

Cooking Tips
For extra nutrition and color, you can add chopped cabbage or sweet frozen peas within the last 2 to 3 minutes and cook until tender.
I prefer my guisado to the dry side. If you like a little soup, increase the water to 1 cup
